Inspired by the complex challenges of Geoengineering in tropical climates, GEOTROPIK was founded in February 2016. GEOTROPIK is envisioned as a dynamic multidisciplinary field in geoengineering that addresses practical issues of significance to industries and government agencies.
With state-of-the-art research facilities, a dedicated team of technical and administrative staff, and esteemed fellows specializing in Geotechnics, Geology, Geohazards, Groundwater, Geo-environmental studies, Geomatics, Geospatial Information Systems, Geophysics, Instrumentation & Monitoring, and Computational Geoengineering, GEOTROPIK fosters internal and external networking and collaboration. This allows for the sharing of resources and expertise to enhance overall knowledge and coordination efforts.
