Biography:

Dr. Xin Ren is Full Professor within the Center of Innovative Structures at the School of Civil Engineering, Nanjing Tech University. He is a Vebleo Fellow and recipient of the prestigious Jiangsu Outstanding Youth Fund in China. Acknowledged for his outstanding contributions to the field, Dr. Ren has been recognized as one of the Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University for two consecutive years. Additionally, he serves as a Member of the International Negative Poisson's Ratio Materials and Structure Academic Committee and has also lent his expertise as a guest editor for three esteemed international journals. Dr. Ren's research interests encompass a wide range of areas including new materials and structures, composite materials, and topology optimization. With a prolific publication record of over 70 papers, his work has garnered nearly 4000 citations, attesting to the significance and impact of his research in the field.
